Adam Milstein Establishes The Donor Forum, a Move to Source Funding for Non-Profit Organizations and Causes

Apart from Adam Milstein being a managing partner at Hager Pacific Properties, is also well known as the Co-founder and Chairman of Israel-American Council (IAC). He has been instrumental in promoting pro-Jewish as well as pro-Israel non-profit causes. IAC, found in 2007, is a non-profit organization that engages Israel-Americans in various programs such as annual Yom HaAtzmaut celebrations, children’s educational communities as well as young adult groups.

Under the leadership of Adam Milstein, IAC has grown tremendously to extend their services to twelve regions as well as to include twelve regional councils across the United States. Mr. Milstein and his wife started a foundation called Milstein Family Foundation as well as Stand By Me, foundations that are focused to bring Israel-Americans together and deal with issues affecting them.

Adam Milstein and his wife are dedicated to connect Israel-Americans to their roots and help future Israel-American generations identify themselves strongly with Israel. In these endeavors, Mr. Milstein has learnt the inner workings of non-profit organizations including how to source for funds.

Mr. Milstein and Gila Milstein, not only contribute to and support philanthropic activities financially and materially, but also put personal efforts to the causes to make sure they succeed. In an effort to mobilize funding for the non-profit organizations, Adam Milstein has established Donor Forum, where organizations pitches their cause over short-forum presentations. They bring together sponsors, organization leaders and philanthropists and discuss issues related to funding.

Member donors to the Donor Forum contributes $10,000 annually to the causes before them. Organizations that are selected to pitch their 15-minute presentations to donors are carefully selected by a committee to make sure only genuine and promising causes get funding. Afterward, organization gets more time with donor members they have pitched to, to establish if they convinced them to contribute and even devote more time and efforts to the causes they are working for.

The organizations that present at the forum vary in purpose and scope. The presenters leads different causes related to Israel-Americans. Adam Milstein has put a lot of effort in philanthropic activities and the Donor Forum he founded will go a long way to changing the lives of Israel-Americans even more.
