Kimberly Bakker is an event planner who was born in San Francisco, California. She graduated from the University of Southern California where she majored in business. Upon graduating college, she worked full time as the Director of Sales and Marketing for the L’ermitage Hotels. She worked in event production for several years until she founded her own events management firm, Kimberly Bakker Events. She worked with clients such as Sutter Hill Ventures, Dom Perignon, Louis Vuitton, and many more. She currently has over 15 years of experience as an event planner.
Kimberly Bakker was also a founding partner of the well-known restaurant Le Colonial where she worked on its very successful launch which resulted in over $5 million in revenue during their first year of business. Kimberly Bakker has also worked with the Mayor, organizing events for World Environment Day and served as Director of the San Francisco Fall Antiques Show where she was responsible for millions of dollars in sponsorships.
Today, Kimberly Bakker not only has her own full service consulting firm called KQB, but also serves on the Board of Directors for Children of Shelters, Blue Star Music Camp and several other non-profit organizations in the San Francisco, California area. Her experience brings such a unique skill set for event planning, public relations and having a network of influential personal connections.
Bakker’s boutique marketing firm specializes in private, family and memorable events. For a 16th birthday party, her firm displayed gorgeous green and blue table décor, a lunch menu including salad, an entrée and dessert, floral arrangements, personalized treat bags for guests and gorgeous photography from the evening’s celebration.
